LWG Certified & Audited Tanneries
At Leather Club Australia™ (LCA), sustainability begins with the leather we choose. Our leather is sourced from Leather Working Group (LWG) certified and audited tanneries, including Gold-rated facilities in Pakistan.
LWG certification provides an internationally recognised framework for assessing leather manufacturing facilities across areas such as environmental performance, chemical management, water and energy use, waste management and responsible production practices.
Our manufacturing partners bring a leather-making heritage dating back to 1941, combining generations of craftsmanship with modern environmental standards and responsible manufacturing practices.
Their international operations and business networks extend across Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Canada, China, South Asia, the United States and Europe, connecting established leather-making expertise with global markets.
For LCA, sustainability is not simply about where a product is made. It is about how the material is sourced, how it is processed, who makes it, and how long the finished product is designed to last.

Through our preference for leather sourced from LWG certified and audited tanneries, including Gold-rated facilities, and our focus on durable, responsibly produced products, we aim to support practices that align with relevant United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
